Perfect knit dress for travel (with pockets!)

Hello from across the pond! My name is Brenda, and I’m the blogger behind Sundays and Somedays where I share my life and style as an American girl living in London. I share a new post every Sunday (and some other days in between), and since I love to travel and fashion, that’s what I blog about most. If I can combine the two, that’s even better! I’d describe my style as classic, feminine but still a bit modern, so naturally, I love Virginia Dare dresses!

Travel Dresses & Tieks

At Virginia Dare Dress Co., we admire companies whose thoughtfulness shows in the beauty and quality of their products. It’s the kind of thing customers keep coming back for, and we love to see it. Tieks by Gavrieli is a brand we really admire. Their flats are iconic, with over sixty beautiful colors and the classic Tiek Blue soles. Speaking of soles, they are non-skid and split, so they can fold up and fit into your purse. Genius!..

Starting their journey as complete strangers, they ended up traveling kindreds. VDDCo. was delighted to be a part of this trip by hosting an afternoon tea from afar…

Making time for friendships

It’s a funny truth: what seems urgent isn’t always what’s most important. And yet, so many things feel urgent on a daily basis, don’t they? It can be easy to swing from one pressing task to the next, go to bed, and then repeat. Planning and enjoying a beautiful day with friends can initially feel frivolous. Afterward, though, we find ourselves walking away with such renewal, a new spring in our step, and the realization that meeting with kindreds was just what we needed. There’s just so much beauty and joy in it!…
